Streamway Corridors
The city is formulating a new wet weather program to preserve streamway corridors for flood control and storm water runoff. The inner areas of these corridors are perfect developing recreation trails and even transportation corridors.
It is imperative that these valuable natural resources be preserved and that the city does everything it can to develop low-impact trail facilities in these corridors. The area of the corridor intended for trails is not an area where building would be allowed anyway, so this idea does not do anything to impact development or use of private property.
